Roses Workshop

Roses Workshop is a one-woman cottage industry keeping traditional skills not just alive, but thriving.

Simone specialises in handcrafted items made from British wool and the world-renowned Harris TweedŽ — materials rich in heritage, warmth, and quiet beauty.

Taught by her family from a young age, Simone has been creating for as long as she can remember. Her passion for British wool deepened through early support of the Campaign for Wool and inspiration from the Rare Breeds Survival Trust, guiding her toward materials that tell stories of landscape, care, and continuity.

The Woolweaver of the Hearthbound North

“She stitches the hush of winter into warmth.

Each thread holds a memory — of home, of care, of hands that remember.”

"A modern maker

with ancient roots."

Now based in Blackpool — with frequent returns to her childhood home in Scotland — Simone blends a love of colour and texture with sustainable craftsmanship. Her designs are contemporary, rooted in tradition, and proudly woven with purpose.

Every piece from Roses Workshop carries the memory of the past and the heartbeat of a modern maker — crafted not just to last, but to mean something.
